The articles, headlines, standfirsts and page design on this site are the copyright of Foundry4 and are protected as literary and artistic works. Nothing published here may be reproduced in full, syndicated, mirrored, or included in a paid product or database without written permission.
Quoting is welcome and needs no permission, within the ordinary limits of fair dealing for reporting, criticism, review and quotation. Take a passage rather than a piece, attribute it to Foundry4, and link to the page it came from. Automated collection at scale, whether for a dataset, a mirror or a content feed, is not covered by that and is not permitted.
Where an article quotes or reproduces something from elsewhere, such as a figure from a government report or an extract from a published study, the rights in that material stay with whoever holds them. The citation at the foot of each article names the source, and permission for anything beyond quotation has to come from them rather than from this publication.
The basis on which articles are provided
Everything here is published in good faith and sourced according to the editorial guidelines, which is a real standard and not a guarantee. Figures are checked against the body that issued them at the time of writing. Reports get superseded, statutes commence, contracts are re-let and vendors are acquired, so an article describes the position on the date it carries and does not update itself.
No warranty is given that the material is complete, current or fit for any particular purpose, and to the extent the law allows, liability for any loss arising from reliance on it is excluded. That exclusion does not touch anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Links to other sites are provided because the source is worth reading. Those sites are not under this publication's control and no responsibility is taken for what they contain or for what they do with a visitor.
